Popular balladeer and ‘all of my life‘ singer Park Won is back with brand new single, ‘Burden (짐)’ from new mini album titled ‘My fuxxxxx romance 01’.
‘Burden’ is another of Park Won’s beautiful ballad tracks that will worm its way into the hearts and souls of listeners worldwide. His voice holds a wealth of emotions which, in turn, injects sentimental sadness into the moving composition, He gently guides the song through each phrase, with the subtle piano and strings instrumental emphasising the sombre mood. I can’t help but hang on to every word that Park Won sings, as he does so with a tender clarity and each note dripping full of heartfelt emotions.
Park Won really knows how to sing a ballad – not every singer can put across their feelings in such a way that both the stable phrases and the softer sequences convey just as much emotion as each other. As far as saddening goes, this is up there, really tugging at the heart strings from start to finish. Although some of Park Won’s previous tracks have hit big, it is fair to say that recently, newer listeners to Korean music are less aware of his vocal prowess and, on the whole, interest has been varied, but hopefully, with the release of this new, touching ballad and diverse album, the Korean market can come to remember Park Won for more than just one or two of the songs from his discography.
